Banana skin Barrow

The 3rd round draw for the FA Cup was made on Sunday and it left a few Yorkshire sides with food for thought.

The tie of the round has to be Barrow who will travel to the Riverside to take on Gareth Southgate’s Middlesbrough.

Last seasons beaten semi-finalists Barnsley can look forward to a trip to Upton Park as they face West Ham.

Sheffield Wednesday also drew a Premiership side in the shape of Fulham whilst Kevin Blackwell’s Sheffield United face a tough trip to Leyton Orient.

Doncaster will face the winners Morcambe or Cheltenham in a potential banana skin with Hull City taking on Northern rivals Newcastle United.

  1. Fantastic to see Histon in the FA Cup 3rd round, they thoroughly deserved their win at home to Leeds and I wish them all the best!
Couple of tough trips for Premier League sides, Liverpool travel to Preston and Villa will find it tough at Stockport or Gillingham!
